01 · About
Hi, I'm Sohan! I love exploring, learning, and building new things.
I'm a rising senior at Cornell studying Computer Science and Operations Research Engineering. My work lives at the overlap of software and business: I'm most interested in distributed systems, infrastructure, and finance — problems where performance and decisions actually matter.
This summer I'm at Databricks. Before that, I was at Microsoft shipping internal tooling for Azure and at Siemens redesigning an enterprise data platform. Outside of internships, I co-founded AskStanley AI — an IB interview prep platform that crossed $150K ARR — and built AskElliot, a consulting-focused sibling.
Outside of work, I dance with Cornell Bhangra and spend a lot of time understanding how things work — whether that's code, markets, or people.

Full-stack AI platform for investment banking interview prep. Built the RAG-based question engine, designed onboarding funnels, and scaled the product to 10,000+ students across target schools. Handles firm-specific technical and behavioral questions with AI-generated feedback.
Sister product to AskStanley, launched in February 2026. AskElliot brings the same AI-driven prep model to consulting recruiting — covering firm-specific case frameworks, behavioral questions, and fit interviews for MBB and tier-2 firms.

Outside of work
I grew up in Northville, Michigan, a suburb of Metro Detroit. I'm a huge fan of the Detroit Lions and Pistons. I also dance with Cornell Bhangra, and in 2024 we performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade — which is probably the coolest thing I've ever done. I also play tennis, tabla, compete at chess and poker, and take LinkedIn Games more seriously than I'd like to admit.
